Software Engineer
The Software Engineer is responsible for system and component level design and development of large-scale, enterprise web applications. The qualified candidate will work closely with project management and other technical staff to design, specify, document and develop web applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications
Experience developing with Java and J2EE. Experience with UI technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or related.
Job Description
Become familiar with our existing applications and environments. Participate in the end-to-end design and development of large-scale web applications and infrastructure components. Research and develop technical solutions to complex application development problems. Develop server-side (web) applications in a multiple partition environment. Review and test peer code for technical accuracy, standards, and functional compliance to the design. Read, write and comprehend technical specifications. Use the IBM WebSphere IDE (Eclipse-based) and ClearCase to develop software.
