Java/J2EE Application Developer

Qualifications

The position requires experience with Java, J2EE and Struts development although applicants with expertise in web application development on other platforms will be considered. The ability to read, write and comprehend technical specifications is a must. Experience with Websphere Application Server is considered a plus. A BS degree in a computer science or a related field is required.

Job Description

• Become familiar with our existing applications and environments.
• Develop server-side (web) applications in a multiple partition iSeries environment.
• Participate in the design of the web user interface.
• Use the IBM WDSC (WebSphere IDE) and ClearCase to develop software.
• Participate in the design of applications and infrastructure components.
• Receive on-site and off-site training in areas related to the development.
